PACIFIC BELL CENTREX Program Coasters Wood & Brass - Display Quality

These commemorative coasters were given out near the launch of the Centrex "Subscription PBX" system where you could transfer calls to other regular phones in your office with dial tone feature codes.  It was largely a flop, as instead of being simple, most people found it undesirable for use.  PacBell / AT&T / Verizon would later end up offering business phone lines at a discount if you added the Centrex service in order to sell the service.  When the discount ran out, you would end up paying for the Centrex service which most people kept by-passed.

They're in great condition, similar to the day they were handed out, ironically, in celebration of a program that they would later end up having to pawn off onto unknowing customers.  These are a great telecommunications telephone collectable.
