Up for sale is this Antique Swiss Music Box by F. Conchon, Geneve c.1875 - 6 AIRS, Serial Number 5956. It was restored in the late 1960's. Its pivots and governor were cleaned and lubricated just prior to listing.
It has a 13" Wide Cylinder & 13" 123 Tooth Comb. It has a skeleton key lock which is currently unlocked and does not have the key.
It's in working condition. After pulling the wind lever several pulls to wind the spring motor, pull the brake lever on the bottom right hand side and flick the governor vane to get it started spinning and enjoy several songs between winds. The top left lever controls the song advance. It can play the same song over and over again, or auto advance between 6 songs. The stop lever stops the scroll turning at the end of the currently playing song when pulled.
