I'm pleased to offer these rare antique illustrated volumes!

These antique books are over 139 years old!

Not a common set! Very well preserved overall! Complete in two volumes! 
These antique books are in GOOD condition for being almost 140 years old! Original three quarter morocco leather and marbled interiors present nicely overall!   Both volumes present nicely overall and show wear from age as pictured.  Beautiful gilt edges show minimal wear. Gilt lettering to the spines displays nicely from the shelf.

Both books boast strong, tight bindings.  All page groupings remain are secure! Sound and well preserved! 

The text block in each volume is in GOOD condition overall! There are some markings in the first pages.  Pages show some gentle toning from age as well as scattered foxing (generally to the tissue guards protecting the steel engravings) and some scattered soiling but are actually quite clean and white overall . Otherwise sound and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. A nicely preserved text block overall! 
Profusely illustrated! Absolutely wonderfully done! Illustrations are all in outstanding condition. 

Two beautiful antique volume that would make a perfect gift or be a great addition to any fine collection ! 

Each volume measures approximately 13 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches thick. Both volumes side by side will require approximately 5 inches of shelf space. Books weigh approximately 22 pounds prior to packaging.  Due to the age and value of these books, they will be shipped via insured delivery.
