Original 1870’s heavy cast iron manual hand crank sewing machine. This is a Johnson Clark, model "Gold Medal" with its distinct Octagon shape.
This model is not impossible to find, but rather rare.
It was only dusted with a cosmetic brush prior to photography and was not cleaned with any chemicals.
Dimensions 11.5” by 7.75” by 5.5” with original stenciling. In working condition with needle installed. The gears and mechanical bits run smoothly.
