DESCRIPTION
This is Vintage PARVEEN Metal Tailoring Scissors. Has two big blades of steel. These beauties were made, in India, by a family that has been making scissors for generations . The blades are hand forged carbonized steel (that cut like a hot knife through butter), and the handles are cast brass. They are also signed by the maker, "Parveen."
About Parveen Scissors Creator: Parveen Scissors and Shears are made in ancient city of Meerut in India. The artisan's name is PARVEEN. His entire family has been making the PARVEEN hand forged scissors and shears for generations.The name Parveen is of Old Persian origin, and it is used mainly in English and Indian. Parveen is a Muslim name for baby girl and meaning is Very Noble or 'star'.
