Up for sale is this Museum Quality Motion Models USS Badoeng Strait (CVE-116) Aircraft Carrier from the estate of a retired Marine Coarsair Pilot who flew combat missions in Korea from the USS Badoeng Strait.

The ship is manufactured by MOTION MODELS (Florida) who's reputation in the model industry is without peers. They have provided models for four U.S. President's, the Smithsonian Museum, U. S. Navy Museums, Department of Defense, Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Secretary of the Navy, USAF, Coast Guard, politicians, other military & the famous. Four to six months is the manufacturing time line for models in this class & the exquisite detail, craftsmanship and sheer magnitude of size is magnificent. 

Specifics include a mahogany base, mahogany wood planking to secure the ship to the base,  hand carved & painted logos which include the Navy Insignia & Air Wing 8 (the carrier group that fly's from the CVN-116). A display case provides the finishing touch & protection for this incredible piece of Military memorabilia.

The overall dimensions of the case are 22.5" Wide x 10.5" Deep x 11" Tall.  The case has cosmetic defects in some of the wood portions.
