Up for sale is this Vintage 1983 NEC PC-8201A Portable Computer with Technical Notes Manual, Product Slick Brochure, User Application Guide & NEC Power Adapter.  It has some additional RAM chips installed on the rear of the board.

It has been *SERVICED* - the internal rechargeable Ni-Cad Memory Battery has been replaced and the Motherboard board & power supply board inspected / tested as per service manual.  The computer was verified operational with the included power adapter and also with 4x AA Batteries (not included)  This computer was acquired from the estate of a 1970's / 1980's computer scientist.

Only the first two RAM chips registered an increase of memory when installed.  The operational status of all of the additionally installed RAM chips is unknown.
